1. Read the requirement
Find the course name, required hours, permitted format and completion deadline in your paperwork. A speeding or reckless-driving charge alone does not tell you which class to buy.
Your requirement, your deadline, your route: put all three together before choosing a driving class.
Driver Training Solutions LLC helps Hampton students compare 8-hour Virginia Driver Improvement, complete 12-hour RADEP, and 4-hour Supplemental RADEP. Choose classroom instruction or an accepted online option based on the instructions for your situation.
Whether you are starting from Phoebus, Buckroe, Downtown Hampton, Fox Hill, Coliseum Central or another Hampton neighborhood, the closest available date is useful only when it is the right course.
Find the course name, required hours, permitted format and completion deadline in your paperwork. A speeding or reckless-driving charge alone does not tell you which class to buy.
Full classroom RADEP requires an 8-hour Part 1 and a separate 4-hour Part 2. If an earlier 8-hour certificate is accepted for your requirement, you may need only Part 2.
Allow time for instruction, completion documentation and submission. For classroom attendance, plan your bridge or tunnel route, parking and check-in around the actual address.
Standard Driver Improvement • RADEP Part 1
Choose an 8-hour session in Portsmouth, Chesapeake or Virginia Beach.
$100 cash • 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
8-hour Part 1 + 4-hour Part 2
Plan both sessions and submit a separate registration for each component.
$100 cash per component • $200 total
After an accepted 8-hour completion
Confirm that your earlier course counts. Bring the accepted completion certificate to Part 2.
$100 cash • 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
These classes are held in the city shown in each listing, not in Hampton. Eight-hour sessions run 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. Four-hour RADEP Part 2 sessions run 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.
Past dates disappear automatically using Virginia’s Eastern time. Today’s classes remain displayed through the end of the day; a displayed date does not establish seat availability or allow late arrival.
A clear choice today helps prevent a second enrollment or unnecessary trip later. Our approach combines experienced instruction with straightforward course distinctions and practical preparation.
Program Administrator Damon Hogan brings 23 years of Virginia driver-improvement and traffic-safety education experience. Classroom Driver Improvement uses AAA materials; classroom RADEP Part 2 draws on National Safety Council Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving materials.
Driver Improvement emphasizes hazards, defensive driving and responsible decisions. RADEP adds attention to attitudes, emotions and behaviors associated with reckless and aggressive driving.
Finish the required instruction and testing, review the course information on your certificate and follow the submission instructions for your case. Completion does not guarantee a reduced charge or other court outcome.
8-hour Driver Improvement: $100 cash. 4-hour RADEP Part 2: $100 cash. Full classroom RADEP: $200 total, paid as $100 for each component.
Arrive before 9:00 AM and allow time for check-in. An 8-hour class ends at 5:30 PM; a 4-hour class ends at 1:00 PM. Do not plan an early departure or a conflicting appointment.
An online course can avoid classroom travel when your court, attorney or referring authority permits that format. Match the required hours and language-access option before paying. The 4-hour course requires an accepted prior 8-hour completion; online RADEP does not award +5 DMV points.

Spanish-accessible course links continue to VARADEP.com, another Driver Training Solutions LLC website. Review the selected page’s enrollment instructions, current total and terms before purchase.
This page serves Hampton students comparing course requirements, regional class dates and online alternatives. It does not advertise a Hampton classroom address or a scheduled Hampton session.
Compare the actual venue address rather than assuming one Southside city is always the easiest trip. Your starting point, route and class date affect the travel plan.
Our Newport News page provides separate guidance for that city and its listed facility. A facility address alone is not a scheduled class. Attend only at the address and date in your confirmed registration.
NEWPORT NEWS COURSE GUIDANCEThe authority responsible for your requirement decides which course and format satisfy it. Confirm online acceptance and whether an earlier 8-hour certificate counts before selecting supplemental RADEP.
A qualifying 8-hour Driver Improvement Clinic may have separate DMV point eligibility. Attendance reason and applicable DMV or court instructions control; points are not automatic. Neither the 12-hour nor 4-hour online RADEP course awards +5 DMV points.
Does not meet DMV requirements for CDL license holders. If you were instructed to complete a Commercial Driver Improvement Clinic, confirm the commercial course required before registering here.
Review your legal name, course title and completion information on the certificate. Keep a copy and submit proof where and when your court or attorney instructs. If completing classroom RADEP, retain documentation for both required components.
Plan enough time between your course and deadline to receive and submit the required documents. Do not assume enrollment alone satisfies a completion requirement.
No. No Hampton classroom dates are currently scheduled. The dated sessions are held in Portsmouth, Chesapeake or Virginia Beach at the address shown in each listing.
Use the specific course name and hours in your court or attorney’s instructions. The city of your court date does not determine whether you need 8-hour Driver Improvement, complete 12-hour RADEP or only 4-hour Supplemental RADEP.
A complete 12-hour online RADEP option is available when online completion is accepted for your case. If classroom attendance is required, full RADEP consists of two separate components and registrations.
Possibly not. If that completion is accepted toward your RADEP requirement, you may need only the 4-hour component. Bring the accepted certificate to a classroom Part 2 session.
Choose 8-hour Driver Improvement, 4-hour RADEP Part 2 or all classes. The page hides dates earlier than today in Eastern time. Today’s listings remain visible until midnight; new future dates must still be added to the schedule.
No. Filters change the displayed choices. Use a registration link and submit your registration for the required course, date and city. Full classroom RADEP needs a separate submission for each component.
Yes, when the selected online course is accepted for the requirement. Course content originates in English and uses Google Translate after entry. Customer service, technical support and classroom instruction are English-only.
Call 757-235-4994 with your paperwork available. Confirm any alternative format with your referring authority. Do not assume that a late completion or different course will be accepted.
Start with your instructions, compare the available dates or online options, and leave enough time to document completion.
